· Add fertilizer to the aloe vera plant for its proper growth. The best time to put fertilizer is during the summer season. These fertilizers are easily available and should be mixed with the soil. You should opt for fertilizing the plant after two to three months.

· You should avoid planting the aloe vera plant in wet soil. It will spoil the plant in case there is excessive water logged in the soil.

· The aloe vera roots spread throughout the pot and so opt for a pot which will allow for its proper growth.
